Over 400,000 New Yorkers receive home care services each year. Many of these patients are homebound, meaning they can’t get to their polling place on election day.
Bring The Vote Home NY is working to help these individuals vote and overcome disenfranchisement due to life-limiting illness or infirmity.
This campaign is arming home care providers and their staff with tools to assist homebound, elderly and disabled New Yorkers cast a ballot from home by giving individuals the resources to register to vote and send an absentee ballot during the 2016 election.
